AVANCE-Dallas Celebra la Cultura y la Comunidad en el Evento del Mes de la Herencia Hispana

AVANCE-Dallas recently had the pleasure of participating in the Hispanic Heritage Month celebration at the Dallas Arboretum, a vibrant event that featured over 40 Hispanic vendors showcasing everything from clothing to décor, along with delicious food representing a variety of Latin cultures. The event was a joyful celebration of heritage, culture, and community, with AVANCE-Dallas taking the opportunity to engage with attendees and share information about their programs.

One of the event’s highlights was a quinceañera fashion show, which added to the excitement and celebration of Latino traditions. To the delight of the AVANCE team, one of the quinceañeras approached their booth and shared a special connection—she had once been a part of the AVANCE program as a child! This heartwarming moment brought even more energy and inspiration to the team, reaffirming the lasting impact AVANCE has on the community.

The event was a fantastic opportunity to connect with families, recruit new participants, and continue inspiring the community to celebrate and preserve its rich cultural heritage. AVANCE-Dallas was thrilled to be part of such a meaningful event, and the success of the day left everyone looking forward to even more opportunities to serve and engage with the community.
