AVANCE -North Texas Appreciation Breakfast 

AVANCE-North Texas recientemente celebró su Desayuno de Agradecimiento Anual, un evento especial para expresar gratitud a todos los directores escolares que generosamente abren sus puertas al Programa de Educación para Padres e Hijos (PCEP) Al llegar, los invitados disfrutaron de algunos de los burritos más deliciosos de la ciudad, acompañados de café y fruta fresca. 

During the event, the AVANCE team shared a unique experience by hosting a toy-making workshop, one of the unique features of PCEP. Attendees participated in creating the Happy and Sad Face Pillow, a toy used to support the socio-emotional development of young children. Activities with the pillow help children gradually learn to recognize and understand their emotions. Each participant had the opportunity to craft their own pillow while learning how this type of activity is conducted in the classroom.  

It was a morning filled with gratitude, learning, and teamwork. We are deeply thankful for the ongoing support of the schools, churches, and community centers that welcome us, allowing us to continue strengthening and supporting families in their journey of learning and growth.
