Parents are their children's first teachers;
The home is the first classroom.

AVANCE's core foundational program, the Parent-Child Education Program (PCEP) supports parents as their children's first teachers and their homes as their first classroom. PCEP is a FREE 9-month program for caregivers - including pregnant women, parents, extended family, and foster families – and their children between the ages of 0-4 years old. The program offers:

  • Toymaking classes to support learning through play at home
  • Education sessions and community activities for caregivers AND their children
  • Access to community resources and services for the whole family

AVANCE is the difference between before and now. It has given me the tools to better understand my daughter's needs and it showed me how to be a better mother.
